What is with this obsession of covering up wrinkles and dark spots on our complexions? God gave you these looks for a reason, even with age we should all feel extraordinarily beautiful in our own skin, because that's the way God intended us to be He didn't plaster goo all over your face and call you beautiful. I wish people would just let go of societies' idea of beauty and perfection and simply be themselves.
I can't go ONE day without seeing an advertisement for some age regenerating cream, or the latest mascara from "Cover Girl" Why can't we simply get together and say, "hey! enough is enough! We are all beautiful the way that we are and we do not need plaster and magazines to tell us otherwise." Though this just may be wishful thinking, I still implore you to look at your like and see how many beauty products you have lining your bathroom sink. How many flat irons or curlers do you have waiting to be used tomorrow morning? Honestly? I've used some flat irons in my life and yes I've put on the occasional make up for special occasions but only to extenuate my natural beauty.
I cannot stand the women who come to school every day wearing eight or nine pounds of plaster on their faces. Who ever told them they weren't beautiful enough as it is? If I had it my way people wouldn't be afraid to show their natural faces. Why would you be? like I said before God gave you your looks for a reason, Its up to you how you interpret them, however I am here to tell you that you are beautiful, ask Him, not society.
